Cha-An Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience
We invite you to experience Cha-An's Japanese tea ceremony in our newly renovated CHASHITSU「棲霧堂」 (traditional Japanese tea room), where you can discover a sense of peace and harmony while savoring authentic MATCHA (from Uji, Kyoto) and our homemade WAGASHI (traditional Japanese confections). First-timers are warmly welcomed, and our host will guide you through the OTEMAE—each movement in temae is performed with mindfulness, harmony, and respect, reflecting the spirit of “wabi-sabi”—the beauty of simplicity and imperfection.

(Full payment is required at the time of booking. Reservations are non-refundable within 2 weeks of the event.)

Kindly note the following policies:
- Dress Code -
● Since the tea ceremony will take place on the tatami floor, we kindly request that you refrain from wearing jeans. Please wear pants or skirts that cover your knees. Kimonos are also welcome.
● Please wear white socks. If you do not have them, we can provide a pair for you to borrow.
● To ensure everyone can enjoy the aroma of matcha, please refrain from wearing perfumes or cologne.
● Please remove accessories such as watches, rings, and bracelets to avoid scratching the tea sets.

● We require a minimum of 3 guests per session and limit each session to a maximum of 4 guests. If we do not have enough participants, we may need to cancel the event. In this case, we will notify you at least 2 days in advance and issue a full refund.
● Children ages 7 and up are welcome to attend.
